Blue Coyote Grill

Foods from Mexico and the Southwest

About us

Escape to the Old Southwest at the Blue Coyote Grill in Palm Springs! Our surroundings are comfortable and relaxing in this former historic homestead which has been converted to Blue Coyote Grill’s exquisite restaurant space.

Enjoy popular dishes made with authentic Southwest recipes including Pollo Cilantro, Enchiladas Mariscos, Fajitas, Molcajete and the restaurant’s “special request” spicy salsa – Salsa Reina.

Over the years, Blue Coyote Grill has won many awards including the Top 100 Outdoor Restaurants in the US and the Coachella Valley’s Best Margarita.

Our history

Don Cavanaugh opened the Blue Coyote Bar and Grill because he loved Palm Springs, the people, and golf! It has been a favorite gathering place since! His daughters, Kelle and Shayne are carrying on their dad’s legacy along with the help of our general manager, Cesar Moreno, chef Heriberto Aguilar, and an amazing, dedicated staff. The City of Palm Springs proclaimed November 10th Don Cavanaugh Day for his impact on Palm Springs by bringing business, jobs, great food, and fun to the North Palm Canyon area.

Blue Coyote Grill proudly supports several local organizations that are near and dear to our hearts.
